Administrado pela Prefeitura de Teresina, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Cidadania, Assist\u00eancia Social e Pol\u00edticas Integradas (SEMCASPI), o equipamento atende, em m\u00e9dia, 1.350 pessoas por dia, oferecendo alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de qualidade a baixo custo para trabalhadores, estudantes, comerciantes e pessoas em situa\u00e7\u00e3o de vulnerabilidade social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De abril de 2025 a junho de 2026, o Restaurante Popular contabilizou 324.261 atendimentos. Diariamente, s\u00e3o servidas cerca de 1.000 refei\u00e7\u00f5es no almo\u00e7o e outras 350 no jantar ofertados a pessoas em situa\u00e7\u00f5es distribu\u00edda nos bairros: centro\/norte, sul, leste e sudeste de Teresina. O servi\u00e7o funciona de segunda a sexta-feira e \u00e9 aberto \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o em geral, mediante a compra de uma ficha no valor de R$ 2,00, garantindo acesso a uma alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o balanceada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"499\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/tvpotyweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-159.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1899\" style=\"width:466px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tvpotyweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-159.png 499w, https:\/\/tvpotyweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-159-300x240.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m do atendimento ao p\u00fablico em geral, o Restaurante Popular desempenha um papel fundamental na assist\u00eancia social do munic\u00edpio. Pessoas em situa\u00e7\u00e3o de rua acompanhadas pelo Centro POP recebem refei\u00e7\u00f5es gratuitamente. At\u00e9 janeiro deste ano, eram ofertadas, em m\u00e9dia, 50 refei\u00e7\u00f5es di\u00e1rias para esse p\u00fablico. A partir de fevereiro, o servi\u00e7o passou a oferecer tamb\u00e9m o jantar, ampliando o atendimento para uma m\u00e9dia inicial de 250 refei\u00e7\u00f5es por noite, enquanto a demanda do almo\u00e7o aumentou para cerca de 70 refei\u00e7\u00f5es di\u00e1rias. O restaurante tamb\u00e9m fornece, em m\u00e9dia, 20 refei\u00e7\u00f5es por dia para usu\u00e1rios da Casa da Mulher Brasileira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para o prefeito Silvio Mendes, o Restaurante Popular representa um compromisso da gest\u00e3o com a dignidade das pessoas. \u201cGarantir uma alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de qualidade e a um pre\u00e7o acess\u00edvel \u00e9 investir na sa\u00fade, no bem-estar e na dignidade da popula\u00e7\u00e3o.
