Al\u00e9m dos recordes, ela facilitar\u00e1 a vida de quem viaja pela regi\u00e3o da Bahia, pois a infraestrutura economizar\u00e1 duas horas de viagem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"738\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/tvpotyweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-82.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1462\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tvpotyweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-82.png 738w, https:\/\/tvpotyweb.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/image-82-300x159.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 738px) 100vw, 738px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A ponte<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conhecida como\u00a0Sistema Ponte Salvador-Ilha da Itaparica, esta ponte de quatro faixas e 12,4 quil\u00f4metros de extens\u00e3o ligar\u00e1 a capital da Bahia \u00e0 regi\u00e3o do Baixo Sul, atravessando a Ba\u00eda de Todos os Santos. O trecho central, com 682 metros de comprimento, ser\u00e1 estaiado e se elevar\u00e1 a 85 metros acima do n\u00edvel do mar, permitindo a passagem de grandes navios sem interromper as opera\u00e7\u00f5es portu\u00e1rias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O sistema n\u00e3o se limita \u00e0 ponte: inclui 4,4 quil\u00f4metros de novas vias de acesso em Salvador, uma via expressa de 22 quil\u00f4metros em Itaparica que contornar\u00e1 o centro urbano da ilha e o alargamento de 8 quil\u00f4metros da rodovia BA-001 entre Tairu e a Ponte Funil, segundo o\u00a0projeto oficial do Governo do Estado da Bahia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Por que \u00e9 importante?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Autoridades regionais estimam que esta obra de engenharia civil beneficiar\u00e1 aproximadamente 10 milh\u00f5es de pessoas que vivem nos 250 munic\u00edpios vizinhos, reduzindo o tempo de deslocamento em duas horas. Tamb\u00e9m dever\u00e1 suportar um fluxo de 28 mil ve\u00edculos por dia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diversas figuras pol\u00edticas da regi\u00e3o se manifestaram, explicando sua import\u00e2ncia em termos econ\u00f4micos e log\u00edsticos. Assim, Mateus da Cunha Dias, Secret\u00e1rio Extraordin\u00e1rio do Sistema Rodovi\u00e1rio Ocidental,\u00a0destaca\u00a0que o projeto poder\u00e1 gerar um impacto econ\u00f4mico de 40 bilh\u00f5es de reais (aproximadamente 6,84 bilh\u00f5es de euros) na regi\u00e3o. O governador Jer\u00f4nimo Rodrigues\u00a0explica\u00a0que as mercadorias provenientes do oeste da Bahia ter\u00e3o que percorrer 200 quil\u00f4metros a menos.
