Em vez de atuar diretamente no f\u00edgado, como fazem a maioria das abordagens atuais, o medicamento fortalece a barreira intestinal e impede que subst\u00e2ncias nocivas produzidas por bact\u00e9rias alcancem o \u00f3rg\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Principal causa seria uma bact\u00e9ria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A doen\u00e7a estudada \u00e9 a esteato-hepatite associada \u00e0 disfun\u00e7\u00e3o metab\u00f3lica, conhecida pela sigla MASH.
